Montclair Film Festival 2023

We'll be back again at the Montclair Film Festival this year, bringing their theme of Connect, Excite, Explore & Inspire to life with augmented reality during the 10 days of the festival. Look around the festival for our AR experience signs to see them for yourself. The festival has already announced their lineup and, as always, it's going to be great. One of the highlights is an evening with Stephen Colbert and Martin Scorsese, you won’t want to miss this!

We were absolutely thrilled last year when we had the chance to work with the Montclair Film Festival to use augmented reality (AR) to bring their message of Embrace Your Curiosity to life! This partnership brought emerging storytelling tools to the festival, both during the event and throughout the year. Alexandra and David started working with the MFF team a few weeks before the actual filming began, planning out who would be presented in AR and mapping out locations throughout Montclair. We wanted to create an experience that would entertain visitors not only during the festival but all year round so we focused on the people who make the festival possible and represent the heart of Montclair like Tom Hall, Evie and Stephen Colbert, and more! You can see what we did last year in the video below.
